EAC Telford has moved to BOOKAR as the next step in developing its award-winning garage business.

An award-winning garage, ready for its next chapter

EAC Telford is owned by Mark and Jayne Kettle. It was named IAAF Multi-Site Garage of the Year in 2025 and again in 2026, Garage Hive Innovator of the Year in 2025, and Community Member of the Year in both 2024 and 2025.

The business is starting its next chapter with Aimee Kettle as Operations Director and Andy Kilford as its new General Manager. Together with Mark, Jayne and the wider team, they are focused on improving how the garages run and the service customers receive.

Why EAC Telford chose BOOKAR

As EAC Telford grew, the team needed a garage management system that would support its workshop processes and give managers a clear view of bookings, job progress, customer communication and margins.

Mark has used several systems over the years. He saw the move to BOOKAR in August 2026 as a chance to take the business to the next level.

How the team uses BOOKAR every day

BOOKAR brings together the tools EAC Telford uses from the moment a job is booked to the moment it is invoiced: booking and scheduling, quoting, parts ordering and invoicing. The team also runs staff clocking, courtesy cars and its vehicle wash bag process in BOOKAR, alongside many other features.

Quicker arrival and collection

Customer job sign-off and key drop-off cut the time customers spend waiting at the counter.

Customers kept up to date

Two-way messaging keeps customers informed, and pop-up notifications tell front-of-house staff the moment a job is complete.

Margins protected

A margin lock stops items being sold below the business's minimum margin unless an authorised override is given.

Clear advice on every vehicle

Technicians must complete the relevant vehicle checks before they can close a job, so the team can give customers clear advice about any work their vehicle needs.

The whole business at a glance

Reporting gives Mark, Aimee and Andy visibility of hours sold, technician efficiency and margins. BOOKAR's live KPI dashboard shows how the whole business is performing at a glance, which helps them plan workshop capacity and make informed decisions.

“In my eyes, there's no other system on the market that gives garage owners such a complete overview of their business.”

Easier accounts with the Xero export

Jayne Kettle and Ryan run EAC Telford's accounts department. BOOKAR's export to Xero makes their job easier: with workshop and financial information in one place, they save time and keep on top of the figures as the business grows.

Ready for growth

EAC Telford expects turnover of £4.5 million in 2026/27, an increase of around £800,000. Mark sees BOOKAR and its integrations as part of the support the team needs to manage that growth.

The next chapter

Mark has shared his experience and ideas with the BOOKAR team as the system has developed. With Aimee and Andy leading day-to-day operations, EAC Telford is using BOOKAR to strengthen its processes, support its staff and keep delivering the service behind its industry recognition.
