Stamp the digital service book without leaving BOOKAR
The paper service book is disappearing. Most manufacturers now keep the maintenance record in their own online portal — and if the service isn't recorded there, as far as the next owner, the warranty provider, and the valuation are concerned, it never happened.
BOOKAR integrates the TecRMI Service Book from TecAlliance, so your team can record a manufacturer-compliant service entry as part of the job they're already working on. No separate portal, no manufacturer logins to chase — the whole thing happens in BOOKAR.

An unrecorded service is an invisible service
Independent garages have long been at a disadvantage here: the franchised dealer updates the manufacturer's record as a matter of course, and the independent hands over a paper stamp that increasingly nobody checks. A digital service book closes that gap.
Protects the warranty
Manufacturer-compliant documentation of the work carried out, filed where the manufacturer expects to find it.
Supports resale value
A complete digital history follows the vehicle. Nothing to lose, nothing to forge, and no gaps at valuation time.
Travels with the car
The record holds up abroad and at the next workshop, whoever that turns out to be.
Levels the field
Offer the same standard of record-keeping as a main dealer, without becoming one.
Four steps, one screen
The service entry is built from the job you already have open in BOOKAR, so most of it is filled in before you start.
Build the service
Enter mileage and registration date, pick the service variant, and select the main and additional maintenance works from the manufacturer's schedule. Everything selected is added to the job.
Create the entry
Vehicle identification, order data, service data, and spare parts arrive pre-filled from the work order. Add any extra information and apply for the entry.
TecAlliance files it
The entry is transmitted to TecAlliance, who record it in the manufacturer's portal on your behalf — including the account and password management that goes with it.
Hand over the proof
Retrieve the service certificate as a PDF in BOOKAR, or email it straight to the customer as their proof of maintenance.
More than a stamp in a book
The service entry is the core of it, but the same integration gives your team the manufacturer's side of the vehicle's story — before the work starts.
Service entry
Create an entry based on the maintenance you have actually carried out.
Service history
Retrieve the vehicle's service history from the manufacturer's portal, so you can see what was done and when.
Technical campaigns & recalls
Query outstanding technical service actions and recalls for a specific vehicle before it goes on the ramp.
Data correction
Request a correction to an entry already filed in the manufacturer's portal.
Supplements
Record a service entry even where the manufacturer's deadline for it has already passed.
360°
Record a service entry for vehicles where the manufacturer offers no digital service book at all, so your record-keeping stays consistent across the whole fleet.
Service history, technical campaigns and recalls, data correction, and supplements are available where the vehicle manufacturer supports them.
The data around the entry
The Service Book sits on top of the TecRMI data BOOKAR already uses, so the vehicle and the schedule are identified for you rather than typed in.
VRM lookup
Identify the vehicle from the registration, the way your team already works.
VIN filter
Narrow to the exact build where a registration alone leaves ambiguity.
Maintenance plans
The manufacturer's service schedule for that specific vehicle, with main and additional works.
Service finder
Work out which service is due next — or which one was missed.
Expert support
Support from the Service Book team when a vehicle or a manufacturer portal doesn't behave.
No manufacturer portals. No password spreadsheet.
The usual way to keep digital service records current is an account with every manufacturer whose vehicles come through your doors, each with its own login, its own renewal, and its own way of doing things. TecAlliance handles that side. Your team only ever sees BOOKAR.
- No manufacturer logins for your team to hold or renew
- Account and password management handled by TecAlliance
- Vehicle, mileage, service data, and parts pre-filled from the job
- A standardised process, whatever the make on the ramp
- Certificate stored against the customer record in BOOKAR
Filing it yourself
- An account with every manufacturer you service
- Logins, renewals and fees to keep track of
- Vehicle and service data keyed in a second time
- A different process for each make on the ramp
- Certificate saved down and emailed by hand

Worth doing on every service
A digital service record is one of the few things that costs a garage minutes and is worth real money to the customer years later — which makes it a straightforward thing to offer, and an easy one to be known for.
A standardised workflow
The same process on every vehicle, so it becomes routine rather than a job for whoever knows that manufacturer's portal.
Manufacturer-compliant documentation
The work is documented and executed to the manufacturer's requirements, and recorded where they keep it.
Proof the customer can hold
A service certificate as a PDF, emailed or handed over — and stored in BOOKAR if it is ever lost.
A reason to come back
Customers who value a complete history have a reason to keep the vehicle with the garage that has been keeping it.

TecRMI Service Book
TecAlliance is the automotive data business behind TecDoc and TecRMI — the technical data, repair times, and maintenance schedules that a large part of the aftermarket runs on. BOOKAR already uses TecRMI data for servicing and repair information; the Service Book extends that same relationship to the manufacturer's maintenance record.
